The Hararghe Health Research Partnership (HHR) hosted a virtual meeting with team members from the Ministry of Health’s maternal, child and adolescent health directorate to discuss HHR’s objectives, ongoing activities and studies.
During the meeting, HHR’s team delivered four presentations covering various activities of the partnership including: CHAMPS, Data-to-Action activities, impact and community engagement activities, and the Maternal Immunization study.
Dr. Maramawit, Director of the Directorate, appreciated HHR’s effort to provide scientific evidence and engage with the community to improve maternal and child health. She also added, the collaboration between HHR and MoH will be instrumental to designing evidence-based policies and interventions to improve maternal and child health in Ethiopia.
