Agriculture is highly vulnerable to climate change conditions in which climate change have direct effect on food production and food security(Parry et al.2004).the impact of climate change on food security and malnutrition is highest among developing countries where most of the population depends on climate sensitive agro economic activities similarly the climate change problem may be severe in developing countries, According to the report of food and agricultural organizations of united nation, 41 % of the Ethiopian population lives below the poverty line and more than 31 million people are undernourished due to the adverse impact of climate variability(Bogale and Shimelis, 2009; FAO, 2010).

 Ethiopia is one of the least developing countries in which majority of its population depend on agriculture sector. According to (AdugnaTafesse et al.2016) Ethiopia’s economy is based on agriculture, which accounts for 42.33% of GDP and80% of total employment.since the livelihood of the majority of the household depends on agricultural sector. For instance, more than 85% of people in Ethiopia depend on agriculture as their primary source of income. Hence their livelihoods can be vulnerable to climatic conditions (Taye et. al., 2010).
